JOB SUMMARY:

Stain and/or UV roll coat wood furniture and veneer to meet customer specifications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Manually applies stain to basic furniture, UV coat panels or assemblies under guidance of other stain specialists.

·         Performs sanding operations of basic furniture or assemblies.

·         Identifies basic imperfections before and after staining.

·         Applies approved stain to basic furniture or assemblies.

·         Uses UV machine for product application on veneer.

·         Performs other related duties as required.

EDUCATION:

High school education or equivalent and Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

·         0-6 months of stain and or UV roll coat machine experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust, noise, heat, fumes and liquids.  Safety shoes and protective clothing could be required.
