We are seeking a dependable and motivated Housekeeping Lead to support the daily operations of our Housekeeping team. This full-time position plays an important role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation across our rental homes and community facilities. The Housekeeping Lead works closely with the Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor to help coordinate daily assignments, support team members, and ensure all spaces are prepared to Rumbling Bald standards.

Essential Job Duties:
- Performs daily cleaning of units and amenities buildings and ensures all assigned areas meet company cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Conducts spot-check of completed rooms to verify that checklists were followed, and quality standards are met; provides immediate coaching or retraining when needed.
- Assists with training new and existing housekeepers on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, proper use of PPE, chemical handling, and equipment care.
- Monitors room status and communicate with the Housekeeping Inspector and Front Desk regarding units that are clean, in progress, or not ready.
- Reports maintenance issues to the inspector or enters work orders when appropriate and follows up to make sure items are addressed.
- Ensures carts, closets, and storage areas are properly stocked, organized, and complaint with labeling and safety requirements.
- Responds to guest requests politely, promptly, and professionally, escalating issues when needed.
- Assists with handling lost-and-found items according to company policy.
- Ensures proper procedure and follow-up of any/or all reports of damage, mechanical deficiencies, theft or problems in units are reported immediately and accurately to the Front Desk and/or Maintenance.Supports the Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor in resolving check-in issues or special cleaning requests.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid NC driver’s license
- Three years prior housekeeping experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.

- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance on an occasional basis
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, climbing and stooping and use hands and fingers to handle or feel
