Innophos is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to join our Accounts Receivable team in Cranbury, NJ. This role is responsible for collections and associated Accounts Receivable activities.
Hours of work are 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, a hybrid schedule of 3x/week in office and 2x/week remote and overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Review credit and financial information of new customers and investigate any inconsistencies
- Posting payments
- Assist with new customer setup in JDE
- Manage the collections process on specific accounts
- Review orders for release of credit holds on accounts
- Work on improvement projects with internal and external partners
- Interact with Pricing, Logistics, and Customer Service to satisfactorily rectify customer issues, deductions and chargebacks
- Assist with testing to supplement both SOX and PWC controls on a monthly and quarterly basis for Accounts Receivable
Required Education and Experience
- College degree preferred
- 5 or more years of Collections experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent PC skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn AR and related systems
- Dun & Bradstreet reporting
- Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently, set priorities, and handle multiple tasks
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills; customer service orientation
- Ability to manage confidential information responsibly
- Manage to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work the hours of 8:30 AM-5:00 PM regularly and overtime as needed
