The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is the academic department of the University to support wide range in-patient and outpatient women’s healthcare services pertinent to general obstetrics and gynaeoclogy, lactation consultancy, family planning and parenting education. In addition to the core services, department also caters to wide range of specialized services such as Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Urogynaeoclogy and Pediatrics & Adolescent gynaeoclogy. The department also offers formal post graduate training programs of residency and fellowship in Maternal and Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology and Gynaecologic Oncology.

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Non-Full-Time Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaeoclogy. This position is based on revenue-sharing model on a one-year contract.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality Fetal Medicine Ultrasound services, including detailed fetal assessment in accordance with best-practice standards.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, timely and consistent clinical care.

Requirements

Candidates should have: 

• MBBS with FCPS, MRCOG, American Board or equivalent qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
• Completion of a two-year Maternal–Fetal Medicine Fellowship.
