At The LEGO Group, creativity is our foundation. We’re looking for a Designer with strong motion skills who can bring brand ideas to life through beautiful visuals and movement. This role sits in our inhouse agency, OLA in the Global Masterbrand Team, to shape how LEGO Brand shows up worldwide. This is a full-time contract. Based in Copenhagen. No relocation, you must already be here.
The Role
This is a once-in-a-career opportunity to shape creativity at The LEGO Group. You’ll help develop design systems to translate strong conceptual thinking into visual identities and motion. You’ll collaborate closely with an ACD design and senior art directors contributing from early concept through execution.
What You’ll Do
Translate brand and design concepts into engaging visual and motion systems
Create assets across digital, social, film, and presentations
Develop motion that respects LEGO brand systems while feeling fresh and expressive
Contribute to franchise and brand-level design thinking
Present and explain your design rationale clearly
Refine work through feedback to a high level of craft
Collaborate across teams and external partners to deliver on milestones
What You Bring
5–7 years of experience in design with motion expertise (agency or in-house)
Strong design fundamentals: composition, typography, color, rhythm, and timing
Confident translating creative direction into both static and moving design
Experience contributing to scalable brand systems
Strong attention to detail with a strategic mindset
Collaborative, curious, and open to feedback
Tools
After Effects (strong proficiency)
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, visualization)
Figma
Experience with 2D animation, motion typography, and transitions
Creative coding is a plus
