McKesson is an impact-driven, Fortune 10 company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will support GPO and pharmaceutical business partners with data-driven insights to enable smarter decisions and improve operational outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data‑driven analyses to support operational, financial, and strategic initiatives across GPO and pharmaceutical business units
- Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze contract performance, pricing trends, utilization, and rebate‑related data to identify opportunities and risks
- Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches, delivering clear insights and recommendations
- Support recurring reporting cycles and ad‑hoc analytical requests with accuracy and urgency
- Collaborate with solution architects, data engineering, and analytics teams to improve automation, data availability, and reporting efficiency
- Validate data quality and ensure consistency and reliability of analytical outputs
- Prepare presentations and executive‑ready summaries for leadership and customer-facing discussions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or related field—or equivalent professional experience
- Typically 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related analytical discipline
- Experience independently managing analytical deliverables with moderate complexity
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, data modeling, and pivot tools
- Experience with BI and visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI
- Solid understanding of data structures, KPIs, and analytical methods
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and visual stories
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or GPO industry experience is a plus
