Industrial Engineer Co-op (Fall 2026)

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Industrial Engineer Co-op for Fall 2026, providing students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in a professional environment. The role involves working on projects that deliver long-term solutions impacting the business and customer experience, while participating in community service events and performing other assigned duties.

Responsibilities:

• Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts to the business and/or customer experience
• Participates in various networking and/or community service events
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university obtaining a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Ability to work productively and proactively, both independently and as a part of a team
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills
• Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals
• Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with across business units and to all levels of management
• Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations
• Undergraduate students preferred
• Clear and professional communication abilities, both verbal and written
• Interest in learning quality control practices and assisting with reviewing and improving processes
• Basic understanding of creating dashboards or reports and an interest in developing stronger data‑visualization skills
• Introductory experience with SQL or coding, or coursework that demonstrates foundational knowledge
• Experimentation with AI tools and a willingness to learn how to incorporate AI into projects
