Senior Project Manager

Caylent is a cloud native services company that helps organizations bring the best out of their people and technology using Amazon Web Services (AWS). They are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to oversee enterprise-level projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all assigned projects, including setting goals between clients and delivery teams, planning and execution of projects, conducting regular touch-points and coordinating account-related activities as needed
• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budget estimates
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with project goals
• Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure successful project execution
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively
• Performance Monitoring: Track project progress against milestones, using KPIs and reporting tools to assess performance and make data-driven decisions
• Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues that arise

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of proven experience in a client-facing Project Manager role, preferably in cloud consulting or related services
• Managed technical projects that consist of 5 or more people and over $500,000 budget
• Ability to leverage multiple Project Management methodologies and/or approaches to drive the best Client experience (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
• Experience in forecasting and budgeting management to drive accuracy in revenue projections to realization
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks, manage projects and ensure they are executed with excellence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships
• Ability to interact with clients at both a business and technical level
• Familiarity with infrastructure modernization, application development and/or data engineering disciplines
• Experience working in a client-facing environment
• Experience working in consulting or professional services
