Manager, Finance & Strategy - Product Finance

DoorDash is a technology and logistics company focused on empowering local economies. In this role, you will lead Global R&D workforce management, partnering with Engineering and Product leadership to optimize investment decisions and provide insights on budget management.

Responsibilities:

• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering and Product leadership, Corporate Finance, and teams across acquired companies to guide strategic workforce decisions
• Provide weekly insights to business partners on their budget surplus or deficit and the headcount movements driving week-over-week changes
• Build and evaluate headcount scenarios to help business partners understand the impact of different investment paths
• Analyze how resources are allocated across global R&D to inform and justify investment recommendations
• Lead headcount system integrations for acquired companies to ensure seamless alignment of data and processes

Requirements:

• 6+ years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience
• Experience managing forecasting & reporting for major departments within an organization
• Track and analyze key business/financial KPIs to identify trends and assess both current and future risks and opportunities
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience working directly with senior executives
• Ability to influence cross functional partners at all levels
