Crossing Hurdles is focused on environmental engineering and they are seeking an Environmental Engineer – AI Trainer. The role involves designing systems to manage environmental impacts, conducting assessments, and collaborating with teams to address environmental challenges using advanced modeling tools.
Responsibilities:
- Design or oversee systems and processes to manage environmental impacts across water, air, and soil
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for land use and infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address remediation, compliance, and sustainability challenges
- Advise organizations and agencies on regulatory procedures and environmental best practices
- Develop and document project objectives, analyses, and progress reports
- Use advanced modeling, CAD, and GIS tools to analyze and visualize environmental data
- Contribute subject matter expertise to train and refine AI-driven environmental engineering tools
Requirements:
- Proficiency with environmental modeling tools such as MIKE SHE, MODFLOW, Eko, and ESRI ArcGIS/ArcView
- Experience with analytical software including S-PLUS and MATLAB
- Knowledge of hazardous materials management, greenhouse gas tracking systems, and compliance management platforms
- Strong skills in CAD and GIS tools including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and CADD systems
- Familiarity with MSDS standards and environmental regulatory requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment
