Lumira Search is an established aerospace electronics company seeking a Business Development Manager focused on the military and aerospace sector. The role involves driving new business across the US by building relationships with defense contractors and aerospace OEMs, while managing the full sales lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and close new business across the military and aerospace electronics market
- Build relationships with prime contractors, Tier 1 suppliers, and government programs
- Identify opportunities across avionics, mission systems, and advanced aerospace platforms
- Own the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity development through contract award
- Work closely with engineering teams to align technical solutions with customer requirements
- Expand existing accounts while bringing in new strategic customers
Requirements:
- Experience in business development or sales within aerospace, defense, or avionics
- Network across mil-aero primes, integrators, or defense contractors
- Background selling technical hardware, embedded systems, or electronics
- Strong ability to navigate long sales cycles and complex programs
- Proven track record of winning high-value programs
- US citizenship or permanent residency (ITAR)
- Security clearance highly desirable
