MAP Intake and Support Specialist

We are recruiting an Intake and Support Specialist to provide services in our Member Assistance Program (MAP). MAP is a customized and comprehensive way for churches and other organizations to assist in meeting the emotional or psychological needs of their members by providing them with convenient, affordable services.

What you will be doing

As an Intake and Support Specialist, you will provide assistance to counselors, referral agents, and staff members in MAP. The Intake and Support Specialist is responsible for taking client phone calls, assessing the client’s needs, along with scheduling appointments and assisting with the maintenance of a neat and orderly schedule for our mental health workers. This position provides coordination, communication, and support to the clients we serve all within a Christian work environment.

This role is eligible for our full benefits package which includes health, dental, and vision insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(K) plan and match policy, and PTO. Hours for this position will be 32-40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Minimum of a BA or BS in psychology or related field, or equivalent experience in social services or non-profit setting.
• Must be a member in good standing of a congregation affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).
• Two years prior experience in an office setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to act as a resource for, provide customer service in a courteous manner to, and work effectively with diverse groups of people at various levels within the organization.
• Possess high level of detail orientation required for accurate work outcomes.
• Good organizational and time management skills required to complete work in a timely and efficient basis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. 
• Demonstrated prior experience and advanced proficiency with electronic recordkeeping software (EMR).
• Intermediate proficiency in computer/technology skills including video conferencing.
• Responsible, energetic, honest, courteous, reliable, with a tactful personality in dealing with the public and other staff of WLCFS.
