Drive strategic planning, account management, and relationship development to grow sales and market share across Kroger and Albertsons
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for Kroger and Albertsons to achieve revenue and profitability goals
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Kroger and Albertsons, effectively communicating business goals and ensuring alignment
Monitor market trends, the competitive landscape, and consumer preferences within the functional beverage sector to identify opportunities for growth
Partner closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on sales initiatives, promotional programs, and retail execution
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sales initiatives, providing regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership
Oversee day-to-day account management activities, ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded
Identify opportunities through trade and shopper marketing that amplify brand presence in-store and drive velocity, credibility, and exceptional execution
Requirements
8+ years of experience in sales management within the CPG industry, preferably in functional beverages or other high-velocity categories
Minimum 4 years calling on Kroger and Albertsons
Proven success managing large retail accounts and driving category growth
Experience leveraging Kroger 8451, SPINS, Nielsen, and Numerator
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
Experience with P&L management and financial reporting
Advanced knowledge of syndicated data to build effective sales strategies
Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
Must have a reliable car, valid driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance
