Position Overview:
The Senior Manager of Operations provides operational, contract, compliance, and project management support for the Office of the General Counsel (OGC). This role manages complex workflows, oversees contract and compliance systems, supervises staff, and partners cross-functionally to improve processes and operational effectiveness using enterprise systems, including Salesforce and contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the administrator for the (CLM) system, including overseeing documentation, training, and adoption of Chamber-wide standards.
• Establish best practices, troubleshoot system issues, and partner with Chamber departments to train new contract originators, answer questions, and facilitate time-sensitive contract processing.
• Oversee the development, assignment, and tracking of compliance training courses for staff and new hires.
• Collaborate with Policy, Communications, Events, IT, and other departments to expand system capabilities, including preapproval tracking processes.
• Train cross-division colleagues on operational and compliance processes to ensure consistent and accurate implementation across the organization.
• Supervise operational staff and paralegal functions related to contracts, compliance reporting, and training administration.
• Oversee hiring and onboarding processes supporting OGC operational needs.
• Perform other tasks as needed to support departmental and organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of administrative or office support experience.
• Significant experience in operations management, contract administration, compliance, and project management within a complex organization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, detail-oriented processes with accuracy and consistency.
• Experience implementing, supporting, or optimizing enterprise systems, including CLM and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms.
• Proven people management skills with experience supervising and developing staff.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated mastery of Microsoft 365 productivity applications and able to rapidly adopt and leverage new technologies, including emerging AI tools.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The salary range for this position is $101,033.00 to $120,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors. Our full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
