Humana Inc. is committed to putting health first and is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional to perform analysis of business processes and user needs. This role involves formulating systems and objectives based on user needs, working closely with Tech on report delivery for Finance customers within the Oracle ecosystems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of business, process and user needs, documentation of requirements, cost/benefit analysis and translation into proper system requirement specifications
- Formulate and define systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
- Devise or modify procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering system capabilities and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results
- Validate benefits achieved from solution implementation
- Begin to influence department’s strategy
- Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction
- Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years of technical experience
- Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
- Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
- Experience in problem analysis and process
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- MBA or other Advanced Degree
- Six Sigma certification
- PMP certification
- Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering
