As a Cloud Platform Field Engineer, you will lead strategic AWS alliances, convert technical wins into scalable assets, and drive thought leadership within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Strategic AWS Alliances: Partner with Sales and Solution Engineering as an expert for high-value opportunities. Review and design architectural blueprints specifically optimized for AWS environments, ensuring Boomi is the backbone of the customer’s data activation strategy
- Convert Technical Wins to Scalable Assets: Execute high-impact POCs and "productize" those efforts into reusable assets like industry accelerators and solution blueprints for the global pre-sales community. Develop, prototype, and demonstrate solutions with direct AWS support
- Drive Thought Leadership: Contribute regularly to the Boomi Community by writing about digital transformation trends and solving difficult technical problems in public forums. Co-author blogs with AWS
- Influence Product & GTM: Deliver customer trends to Product Management to influence roadmaps. Define joint AWS GTM strategies
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Manage technical projects by bringing in specialized experts to collaborate across Product, Professional Services (PSO), and AWS partner teams
- Maintain Operational Excellence: Operate with a data-driven approach, utilizing Jira and centralized dashboards to track impact, manage the "Phone a Friend" workflow, and adhere to SLAs
Requirements:
- Complete expertise of the Boomi portfolio, specifically across Integration (iPaaS), Data Management, API Management, and Platform Infrastructure
- Proven ability to translate extreme technical complexity into actionable strategic foresight and long-term customer visions
- Experience creating high-visibility expert content—such as blog posts, technical templates, and hands-on workshops—to eliminate manual efforts and scale knowledge
- Partner with Sales and Solution Engineering as an expert for high-value opportunities
