Field Service Engineer

HiTHIUM Energy Storage is revolutionizing the energy sector with innovations in Battery Energy Storage Systems. They are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize energy storage systems across various sites, ensuring efficient performance and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve electrical, communication, and system-related faults in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to ensure smooth, efficient performance
• Perform system installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to operations while working autonomously on-site
• Communicate technical issues, updates, and status reports effectively to customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Be willing to work in various locations, including remote areas and challenging environments, while maintaining safety and operational standards
• Remain adaptable in a dynamic work environment, and confidently navigate diverse, multicultural settings when required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving electrical and communication faults, ideally within energy storage systems, electrical systems, or related technical fields
• Hands-on experience working with complex technical systems, tools, and equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, meeting project deadlines and ensuring quality results
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, depending on the project schedule. This may involve working in remote, desert, or other challenging conditions
• A degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), or a relevant technical field is a plus, but relevant work experience in troubleshooting and maintaining complex systems can be equally valuable
