Canon Business Process Services is seeking a Systems Engineer I to provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, technical analysis, and integration services for complex deployments. The role involves managing security vulnerabilities and providing client-facing technical support while collaborating with sales and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provides client facing technical support services, project coordination, and project management where engaged
- This position will provide technical assistance and leadership direction during scoping phases and solutions development where required, including recommendations for optimizing or enhancing solution configurations, provide SME (Subject Matter Expertise) where required, and function as Systems Analysts and System Architects for delivering of services driven by business and Technical Enhancements to Customer Workflows as needed
- Candidate will be required to have working knowledge of traditional Legacy, Client Server, and Enterprise User and Business environments, including working knowledge of traditional Business Applications, Corporate IT Systems environments, and Cloud and Hybrid environments
- Candidate will be expected to understand key IT foundational system areas such as Active Directory, LDAP configurations, Security Configuration Role Management, Print Server and Driver Configuration and Deployment tasks, and overall knowledge of Windows Desktop and Server environments including strategic IT foundational systems such as Networks and other IT Infrastructure and Service technologies
- This is a Customer Facing position with requirements for expertise in technical areas, along with the ability to work analytically in complex technical environments, while maintaining strong Customer Satisfaction ratings
- The primary role is to ensure configuration, deployment activities, application administration, and technical support while remaining in line with Customer requirements and continuing to be a supportable environment for the benefit of Customers
- Function as Technical Systems Integration and Support, Installation Configuration, Project Lead, and Application Administrator where required
- Assist Sales, Operations, and other Professional Solutions teams as needed
- Develop technical documents and Analytical Papers when appropriate
- Interface with internal Operations, Marketing, and other groups, when necessary, as SME
- Helps to influence enhancement and delivery of Strategic Integration Services when needed
- Maintains a high level of industry and IT knowledge
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in technology related discipline or comparable job experience
- Industry Systems and IT related Certifications a plus; MCSE, ITIL©, Cisco, CCNA, Project Management etc
- Experience (3+ years) in either relevant product vendor, end-user, and complex software systems environments
- Experience (3+ years) in these application software systems a plus
- Scaler or Designer experience with Quadiant business solutions products
- Document Composition systems: Quadient Inspire Designer, Scaler, Messenger, QAR, and Journey Map CX solutions, PreS Connect (Objective Lune), Crawford Technology systems and solutions like these
- Canon uniFLOW and iWEMC software systems (Cloud based, Lite, or hybrid)
- FMCentral / FMAudit and eAutomate software systems
- MicroStrategy Enterprise or Microsoft Power BI software systems
- Experience with installing Windows Server environments, including configuring IIS and SQL deployed configurations
- Must be a strong team player with technical and non-technical people
