Mechanical Engineer

TRC Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a leading engineering and manufacturing organization seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. The Mechanical Engineer will support the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems, components, and equipment used in manufacturing and industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies to support manufacturing operations and product development
• Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, drawings, and documentation
• Perform engineering analysis including stress, thermal, and tolerance evaluations
• Support equipment selection, testing, validation, and implementation
• Collaborate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams to integrate mechanical systems into larger processes
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and identify root cause solutions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety
• Participate in design reviews, prototyping, and product testing
• Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
• Provide technical support during production ramp-up and system commissioning

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
• 3+ years of mechanical design or manufacturing engineering experience
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar)
• Experience designing mechanical components, assemblies, or equipment
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles including materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and implement practical engineering solutions
• Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or product development environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
