BioPro Test Engineer

The American Red Cross is the world's largest humanitarian network, dedicated to helping millions of lives every year. They are seeking a BioPro Test Engineer to perform thorough testing of technology systems and software, ensuring they meet organizational standards and end-user requirements while providing training and guidance to other staff.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex test engineering activities throughout assigned software life cycle
• Design, evaluate and implement test tools, plans, procedures and cases based upon requirements
• Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports and metrics
• Document test results, analysis reports, logs and metrics
• Recommend program improvements or corrections
• Provide training and guidance to other staff. Lead and contribute technical expertise to projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required
• Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to apply technical expertise to resolve problems
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks efficiently
• Ability to work on a team
• Ability to be 24-hour on-call during period of major disaster
• Travel may be required
