Cleveland Clinic is a top healthcare organization dedicated to transforming patient experiences. The Senior Financial Analyst I will provide financial data and reporting to support strategic and operational needs, ensuring effective decision-making for executive caregivers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide financial or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data, metrics and standard/ad hoc reporting to support the organization's needs
- Prepare, analyze and communicate key financial information
- Provide support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other issues
- Assist with budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial planning processes
- Retrieve and manipulate complex information with database tools, such as SAS and Teradata
- Consult with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures
- Perform special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field and four years of financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience
- OR Master's degree and three years of experience
- OR Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience and three years of experience
- Ability to complete sophisticated analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation
- Ability to lead projects and people
- Strong understanding of key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development
- Master's degree
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Account (CMA) certification
- Financial modeling experience
- Understanding of valuation concepts (IRR, ROI, NPV) (Internal rate of return, return on investment and net present value)
- Experience with financial valuation and modeling
