The Sr. Manager, Product Management will lead product strategy for the rapidly expanding Optics organization, focusing on optical interconnects for hyperscale customers and driving growth in the AI sector.
Responsibilities:
- Create data-driven product roadmaps that capture emerging AI/hyperscale opportunities
- Lead global teams across engineering, sales, manufacturing, and supply chain to deliver winning customer programs
- Analyze competitive landscape and develop compelling value propositions that win in the market
- Own S&OP forecasting and drive strategies to maximize market share, sales volume, and profit margins
- Present compelling business cases to senior leadership for portfolio expansion and funding
- Serve as primary strategic contact for key hyperscale customers throughout program lifecycle
- Build and mentor a high-performing product management team
- Create growth paths and development opportunities for direct reports
- Represent TE in standards organizations and influence industry direction
Requirements:
- 10+ years in product management, business development, or related roles with P&L responsibility
- Deep knowledge of passive fiber optic connectors and cable assemblies
- 4-year technical degree required
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into winning business strategies
- Proven track record influencing cross-functional teams and building strong internal/external relationships
- Multi-tasking capability with consistent results delivery in fast-paced environments
- Advanced presentation abilities to effectively communicate up and down the organization
- Experience closing large programs within cloud/AI/enterprise marketplace
- MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
- High-speed interconnect products and cloud/AI industry experience strongly desired
