Tactica Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced and qualified Project Manager to support a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract under the Sustainment, Modernization, Repair, and Technology for Operations Support (SMRT) program supporting the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command. The Project Manager will provide overall leadership, management, and coordination of contractor personnel and resources, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense and U.S. Army policies while meeting project deliverables and mission priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government including the Contracting Officer (KO) and Contracting Officer Representative (COR)
- Provide overall project management for contract activities supporting USASMDC, DCS, G-4
- Plan, organize, and manage contractor personnel supporting sustainment, modernization, repair, and technology initiatives
- Oversee task execution related to facilities engineering support, infrastructure sustainment, modernization initiatives, and operational technology improvements
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, DoD, and Army regulations, policies, and standards
- Coordinate project schedules, staffing, and resources to support mission priorities and operational requirements
- Monitor project performance to ensure contract deliverables, milestones, and reporting requirements are met
- Develop and submit required reports, briefings, and project documentation to Government stakeholders
- Manage project risks, identify process improvements, and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Provide strategic planning and operational guidance to ensure efficient program execution and mission success
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Army and Joint Air and Missile Defense systems (e.g. Patriot, THAAD, IFPC, C-RAM), associated C2 systems (e.g. IBCS, AMDWS), and their role within the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense architecture
- Extensive experience in military operations, with a strong background in Air Defense Artillery, Command and Control, or a related operational field
- Expert understanding of Joint and Army Air and Missile Defense doctrine, tactics, techniques, procedures, and operational planning processes
- Deep, current knowledge of the global air and missile threat environment, including adversary capabilities and tactics
- Exceptional skill in translating technical constraints and capabilities into operational risks and opportunities for senior leaders
- Comprehensive knowledge of military data links (e.g. Link 16) message standards, and network protocols
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, information assurance, and Risk Management Framework
- Ability to lead and manage complex technical projects and multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting, project coordination, and briefing senior military and civilian leadership
- Ability to inspire teams, drive consensus, and make critical decisions under pressure

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Graduate of military education programs such as the Command and General Staff College or equivalent
- Prior experience supporting U.S. Army installations or missile test sites
- Experience supporting air and missile defense maintenance and logistics
- 15+ years of prior military experience in the 14/140 military occupational series
- Previous overseas or remote site operational experience
- Eligibility for Top Secret/SCI clearance
