H&R Block is dedicated to helping people and inspiring confidence in their clients and communities. They are seeking a Marketing Manager to deliver email and SMS marketing plans for their Small Business line, focusing on client retention and revenue growth through effective marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver email and SMS marketing plans to retain prior clients, win back former clients and increase revenues for our Small Business line of business
- Manage and coordinate a subset of the marketing programs and be responsible for coordination and management of plan development, audience definition, creative development, approvals, quality assurance, reporting and analysis
- Collaborate closely with the Small Business Senior Email Marketing Manager and the Small Business Market Strategy Director to ensure email strategy flows through execution and stays aligned with business goals
- Collaborate with the SMB business partners, other internal stakeholders and external agency partner where appropriate
- Assist in Small Business email marketing including campaign development, segmentation, automation, A/B testing, and performance analysis
- Regularly analyze performance data such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to identify opportunities to enhance personalization, targeting, and customer journey optimization
- Collaborate and communicate with agency and internal teams to create a high level of awareness of marketing programs, strategic alignment and successful execution
- Leverage first-party data to create targeted, dynamic content that drives engagement and conversions
- Develop clear, actionable briefs outlining campaign details, goals, target audience, and KPIs
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or a related field
- Strong communicator with exceptional project management skills, who thrives in a collaborative environment and has the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Motivated individual who consistently takes initiative and proactively seeks out opportunities to add value beyond core responsibilities
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, use of data to drive decision-making, and crafting data into a meaningful channel-level story
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Creative thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Experience using Tableau, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Journey Optimizer
- Familiarity with Small Business audiences and franchised, multi-unit retail services
