Carpet City Flooring Center is Wisconsin's largest family-owned flooring center, known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. They are seeking a motivated Commercial Sales Representative to focus on new business development and build long-term relationships with commercial clients.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and develop new commercial and residential accounts through targeted outreach activities, including calls, visits, and networking events
- Conduct daily prospecting activities to generate new business opportunities and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and non-converted leads every 60 days to nurture relationships and convert leads into customers
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
- Attend industry events and professional organization meetings to expand the company's network and generate new leads
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle and project lifecycle, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Prepare accurate estimates by reviewing blueprints, take-offs, or conducting on-site measurements
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers during all project phases, including consultation, sales, installation, and follow-up
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, and managing expectations effectively
- Document all sales activities, communications, and follow-ups thoroughly in CRM systems
- Provide management with regular updates on customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity to inform strategic planning
Requirements:
- Exceptional communication, presentation, persuasion, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Strong customer service experience, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships

- Proven ability to prospect, develop, and close sales opportunities effectively

- High school diploma required
