Position Overview
The Senior Inventory Associate serves as a key operational contributor and functional leader within the Post-Purchase Defects & Redemptions Operations team, with expanded responsibilities over defect and redemption fulfillment workflows, inventory accuracy, and audit compliance. This individual is accountable for managing card inventory, overseeing product movement and quality control, and supporting Collector Fulfillment Associates.
This role requires a meticulous, solution-oriented professional with deep experience in fulfillment operations, strong WMS proficiency, and a high level of autonomy. The ideal candidate will possess the critical thinking skills necessary to navigate ambiguity and scale processes in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead execution of defect and redemption programs from end-to-end: inventory transaction, product preparation, quality inspection, packaging, and shipment.
- Perform advanced WMS transactions including inventory moves, fulfillment updates, and audit reconciliations.
- Track inbound shipments, receipts, and fulfillment progress; proactively communicate status and flag exceptions to leadership.
- Train and support Collector Fulfillment Associates, promoting adherence to SOPs, attention to detail, and continuous process improvement.
- Identify and escalate operational inefficiencies, contributing to root cause analysis and solutions design.
- Lead physical inventory counts and reconciliation efforts for the Redemptions area in partnership with Finance and Inventory Control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree with equivalent experience will be considered.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in inventory, fulfillment, or operations—preferably in collectibles, manufacturing, or consumer products.
- Advanced knowledge of WMS systems.
- Proven ability to lead peers and manage operational responsibilities independently.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools; Airtable experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accountability for inventory accuracy and product quality.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for daily coordination and reporting.
- Ability to lift, move, and assemble product packages and materials as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Background in redemption fulfillment or customer order resolution.
- Experience interfacing with Finance or Audit teams on reconciliation and compliance matters.
- Working knowledge of autograph session workflows, collectibles authentication, or sketch card production.
