The Total Rewards Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization’s compensation, benefits, and rewards programs to attract, motivate, and retain talent. The role ensures external market competitiveness, internal equity, regulatory compliance, and alignment of total rewards with business strategy across the assigned geographies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Total Rewards Strategy
Develop and execute the total rewards strategy aligned with business objectives
Define and maintain compensation philosophy, reward frameworks, and policies
Lead job architecture, grading, and role evaluation frameworks
Advise leadership on pay positioning, competitiveness, and reward strategy
2. Compensation Management
Design and manage salary structures, pay bands, and compensation ranges
Conduct salary benchmarking and market competitiveness analysis
Ensure internal equity and pay transparency across geographies
Manage annual compensation cycles, including merit, promotions, and adjustments
Design and administer short-term and long-term incentive plans
3. Governance, Compliance & Analytics
Ensure compliance with applicable compensation and benefits regulations
Maintain policies, procedures, and governance controls
Provide reward analytics, dashboards, and workforce cost insights
Manage reward budgets and support workforce cost forecasting
4. Stakeholder & Employee Support
Partner with HRBPs and business leaders on reward-related decisions
Provide guidance on offers, promotions, and pay actions
Communicate total rewards programs and changes to employees
Address and resolve compensation and benefits queries

Minimum Experience Requirements
Minimum 10 years of overall HR experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in Total Rewards / Compensation & Benefits
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT / ITeS industry
Experience with compensation benchmarking tools (e.g., Mercer, Aon, Radford)
Experience in automation or implementation of compensation modules in HRMS
Educational Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline
Engineering graduate preferred
MMS / MBA / PGDM in Human Resources
