Okta is The World’s Identity Company, providing secure access and authentication solutions. The Vice President of Product Management for Access Management will lead a team focused on enhancing the customer login experience and making strategic decisions based on market trends and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Creating effective product requirements for iterative customer value release
- Publishing and communicating product vision and roadmap
- Work very closely with Access Management engineering leadership
- Support the product management team on engaging with developers at all stages, from hobbyists to large enterprises, to continuously deliver value and assess priorities
- Work collaboratively with product designers and researchers to increase market awareness
- Roadmap sourcing strategy: Build x Buy x Partner
- Monitoring business impact: ROI, Pricing, Margins
- Partnering with go-to-market on Product Launches
- Continuously monitor team structure and investment levels, providing recommendations for optimizations
- Partner in a leading role with Program Management and Engineering leadership in quarterly and yearly planning
Requirements:
- 10+ years of technology leadership (directly managing people) focused on SaaS/IaaS/PaaS primarily in a space where developers are an important buyer of the product and at least 8 years of product management experience
- Deep expertise and understanding of access management products and technologies
- Experience with agile software development, balanced with enterprise software customer needs
- Experience in building and maintaining a long-term roadmap in an environment of constant change
- Experience with developer acceleration frameworks such as SDKs, Quickstarts, and Reference implementations
- Solid business foundation, having built business cases and defined pricing models
- Experience partnering with go-to-market teams in launching software products
- Proven ability to lead a diverse team of product managers at various levels of seniority
- Previous experience leading documentation and/or developer experience teams
- Strong ability to influence and work cross-functionally
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Some travel will be required (US and International)
- Prior experience in a fast-paced and high-growth company is strongly preferred
