Visionary Communications LLC is a leading provider in the telecommunications industry, dedicated to delivering innovative connectivity solutions to businesses and communities. The Business Sales Executive is responsible for cultivating new business relationships and expanding existing accounts within the SMB to Enterprise sectors by engaging potential clients and closing sales to meet or exceed targets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities with new customers within the assigned territory, aligned with Visionary's existing or planned fiber and wireless network projects
- Engage in consistent strategic cold calling, prospecting, and business development activities, maintaining a high volume of in-person appointments weekly or monthly to achieve revenue targets
- Conduct comprehensive customer needs assessments related to telecommunications and data infrastructure, recommending suitable solutions based on their requirements
- Develop and present compelling written proposals, follow up diligently, and negotiate contracts to secure new business deals
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and timely reporting of sales activities and pipeline status
- Serve as a liaison between customers and company personnel or contractors during the design, construction, installation, and activation phases of services
- Process contracts, sales orders, and service upgrades efficiently and accurately
- Participate in ad hoc projects, financial analyses, and strategic initiatives to support business growth
- Represent the company at networking events, tradeshows, and industry activities to enhance brand visibility and develop new contacts
- Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to team objectives
- Work flexible hours and travel as required to meet sales and business development goals
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of successful sales experience, particularly in telecom, data communications, or ISP environments
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Familiarity with industry terminology
- Working knowledge of data and telecommunications solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Self-starter, motivated to achieve revenue goals primarily through cold calling, networking, and market development
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
