- Performing additional tasks as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by integrating emerging technologies and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in mechanical design engineering, particularly with piping and fluid systems in industrial or regulated environments
- Proficiency in pressure-drop calculations, fluid-flow optimization, and equipment sizing and selection
- Familiarity with static and dynamic piping analyses, including pipe-stress and support-structure calculations
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as ASME, and the ability to integrate them into efficient designs
- Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science
- Possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Q Clearance
- Be eligible for security clearance as required
- Additional professional certifications being advantageous
- Experience working within highly regulated industries such as nuclear, chemical processing, oil & gas, or HVAC is highly desirable
