Responsibilities:
- Welcome clients warmly and efficiently check in patients for appointments or emergencies
- Manage high-volume phone calls, provide timely updates to clients, and address inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Support the creation and management of estimates, process check-outs, and handle financial transactions accurately
- Communicate compassionately and effectively during urgent and emotionally sensitive situations, providing reassurance and clarity to pet owners
- Partner with veterinary technicians and doctors to ensure smooth workflow, proper patient handling, and effective communication across departments
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, appointment details, and billing information
- Assist in managing appointment scheduling and follow-up procedures to optimize hospital operations
Requirements:
- At least two years of veterinary experience, ideally within general practice, emergency, or specialty settings
- Strong communication skills
- Organizational skills to manage high call volumes and multitask efficiently
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor, especially during urgent or emotionally charged situations
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment
