BMA Search is representing Le Chameau, a prestigious French heritage brand known for premium rubber boots and country footwear. They are seeking a Lifestyle National Account Sales Manager to grow their B2B business in the US, focusing on building strategic relationships with national multi-store retailers and driving sustainable sales growth in the lifestyle and premium/luxury footwear retail sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Build, manage, and strengthen long-term partnerships with key national accounts
- Develop effective customer relationships across buying, merchandising, and senior leadership teams
- Identify opportunities to increase distribution, improve sell-through, and enhance in-store presence
- Deliver compelling product presentations and commercial proposals
- Identify, target, and open new doors/accounts across the US within lifestyle and premium/luxury retail accounts
- Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate priority retail segments
- Negotiate commercial terms and secure profitable, sustainable partnerships
- Expand brand presence within footwear and adjacent lifestyle categories
- Drive revenue growth across existing and new accounts
- Deliver against annual sales targets and KPIs
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and retailer performance to identify growth opportunities
- Implement seasonal sales strategies aligned with broader international objectives
- Develop accurate sales forecasts in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders
- Provide regular reporting on performance, risks, and opportunities
- Deliver actionable market insights to support strategic decision-making
- Maintain CRM and internal systems with up-to-date account data
- Work closely with the US Sales team, marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure successful launches and account execution
- Coordinate with UK-based colleagues and attend periodic meetings in the UK
- Support international sales initiatives as required
Requirements:
- Proven track record of growing B2B sales within the US
- Strong experience working with lifestyle, footwear, or premium/luxury retailers, with an established network of contacts
- Demonstrated success in opening new accounts and expanding national distribution
- Experience managing national or key accounts at head office level
- Solid understanding of the US retail landscape
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
- Excellent forecasting and analytical skills
- Confident presenter with strong relationship-building abilities
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with autonomy
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally to the UK
