Accion Labs is seeking an AI-First Project Manager to work remotely. The role involves managing software projects in healthcare technology, utilizing LLM-based assistants, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated, hands-on use of LLM-based assistants (enterprise Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent) to create project plans, meeting minutes, status reports, and action-item automation
- 3+ years of software project management experience in healthcare technology or adjacent healthcare data domains, with strong domain familiarity including privacy and regulatory considerations such as HIPAA
- Advanced, practical experience using JIRA for planning, tracking, reporting, workflow design, and automation rules as the system of record
- Proven experience running Agile team cadences (Scrum or Kanban), facilitating cross-functional teams, and driving delivery across product, engineering, and ops
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills - able to translate AI-driven signals into clear, actionable executive summaries
- Comfortable with data and analytics - able to read forecasts, validate predictions, and apply them to risk decisions
- Hunger to experiment - a growth mindset that seeks to push the boundaries of how AI can remove manual work and drive predictability
- Prior PM experience on projects that shipped AI-enabled features or used ML-driven forecasting or automation
- Experience with enterprise Copilot integrations, ChatGPT/LLM plugins for JIRA, or other PM-focused AI tooling
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as FHIR, claims formats, or EHR integrations
- Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster, PMP, or equivalent Agile credentials
- Hands-on scripting or low-code experience (Python, JavaScript, Power Automate) to create small automations or to partner effectively with engineers
- Project plans drafted by the PM with AI generating baseline schedules, dependency maps, and suggested owners for review and refinement
- Meeting notes and action items auto-extracted and pushed to JIRA tickets with owners and due dates assigned by the PM using Copilot prompts
- Automated status reports where AI synthesizes JIRA board data and sprint outcomes into a one-page executive summary with suggested mitigations for risks
- AI-nudges that surface potentially stale work, likely blockers, and dev/test bottlenecks before they impact delivery
- Use of AI to standardize RAID entries, auto-classify risk severity, and propose mitigations that the PM then vets and owns
