Job Description:
We are seeking a Transactions/Production Associate
Essential Job Duties:
- Analyze, interpret and present complex multifamily real estate opportunities
- Conduct detailed economic and demographic research to determine feasibility of transactions
- Assist with researching, writing, and proofing Marketing Offering Memorandums (OMs) and Broker Opinion of Values (BOVs)
- Research and maintain databases that track Investment Sales activity and other relevant real estate metrics
- Develop and maintain market knowledge
- Conduct transaction and due diligence coordination
- Monitor and assess the progress of sales to ensure that deadlines are met and contingencies are released
- Provide preliminary audits of files for management review
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned
Skills, Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance and/or Real Estate concentration preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Finance, Real Estate or related field
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent financial modeling skills
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Word and the ability to learn other company software, as needed
- Highly developed analytical, research and written, and oral presentation skills
- Ability to problem-solve and exercise independent judgment while displaying a high degree of initiative and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to organize & prioritize projects; complete multiple tasks on schedule
- Strong work ethic and pro-active team player
- Ability to work effectively under sometimes stressful conditions
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours or weekends to meet deadlines, as needed
