Dow has a rewarding opportunity for a Senior Administrative Specialist in Bristol, PA.
In this role you will support the Bristol & Croydon site’s Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), Maintenance, and Operations Leadership teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to leaders and teams, working independently with minimal supervision.
- Manage the flow of sensitive compliance documents, maintaining organized filing systems, and coordinating with relevant departments to guarantee timely submission of reports and certifications.
- Manage user access, processing updates, and acting as primary point of contact for key compliance programs.
- Ensure effective communication flow by leveraging knowledge of organizational structure, business processes, and internal systems.
- Manage vendor contracts, expenses, budget tracking, and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with finance partners.
- Serve as a key department contact, troubleshooting issues, supporting projects, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement by maintaining SharePoint/Teams/Power BI content, supporting office technology, and enhancing work processes.
- Build strong relationships across the organization, communicate clearly with diverse audiences, and contribute proactively to team and project success.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a High School Degree or GED equivalent
- 5+ years general office administration experience
- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher
- Prior SAP experience
- Prior compliance reporting experience (OSHA, SARA, EPA, PADEP)
- Vendor management experience

- Information Management: Skilled in managing the full information lifecycle, including data collection, organization, distribution to appropriate stakeholders, and proper archiving or disposal.

- Self Starter: Comfortable working independently in a fast paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
- Organizing, Planning, and Prioritization: Effectively organizes work, sets priorities, identifies resource needs, and executes daily plans while recognizing interdependencies across tasks and teams.
- Office Administration: Demonstrated administrative expertise required to support efficient office operations, including coordination, documentation, and organizational management across a variety of business functions.
