Dotmatics is a leading company in the scientific research sector, dedicated to supporting scientific innovation through a comprehensive digital science platform. As a Solutions Marketing Manager, you will develop strategic messaging and campaigns that connect researchers with the right tools, while engaging with internal experts and customers to shape marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Own the positioning and messaging for your scientific application area: personas, use cases, value propositions, and differentiation
- Develop strategic campaign briefs that translate positioning into actionable guidance for demand generation and integrated marketing
- Build and maintain sales enablement materials that help the Dotmatics commercial team have better conversations, including pitch frameworks, solution narratives, objection handling, and competitive context
- Engage directly with internal subject matter experts and customers to gather insights and shape strategy
- Act as the voice of your scientific audience across marketing and sales, influencing decisions and building alignment across senior stakeholders
Requirements:
- 8+ years experience in a role where science and communication intersect: marketing, field applications, science communications, or similar, ideally in life sciences or research software
- Scientific grounding to have credible conversations with researchers
- A degree in a relevant discipline (biology/chemistry) can be a real advantage here, and relevant hands-on experience is equally welcome
- A track record of taking something complicated and making it click for an audience who didn't have time to become an expert
- Experience building something from scratch before, and you want to do it again
- Comfortable working across functions and influencing without direct authority
