F5 is a company striving to bring a better digital world to life, focusing on cybersecurity and application management. The Manager of Solutions Engineering is responsible for leading a technical sales team, enhancing productivity, and collaborating with sales leadership to achieve sales goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with theater-level sales leadership to develop and execute sales strategy, technology positioning, and execution priorities to accelerate how F5 solves customers challenges in the deployment and operation of their modern applications
- Play the role of evangelist, thought leader, mentor, and influencer for customers and their SE team
- Empower the team to think beyond the routine, embrace a customer success centric sales approach
- Coach, mentor and guide their team in achieving their goals
- Hold yourself and the team to the highest standards of conduct
- Hire, onboard, develop and retain a strong, diverse, and inclusive team that is truly representative of the F5 culture
- Identify and assess technical and soft skill requirements of their SE team and provide opportunities, resources, and guidance to build and develop their capabilities
- Effectively partner with regional sales leaders to prioritize and execute towards their regional Sales strategies
- Develop and communicate the F5 solutions’ value proposition to customers and partners, Assuming a lead support role in working with strategic accounts (customers) and strategic partners in collaboration with the Local Sales teams
- Work with their Solutions Engineers and the corresponding account managers, providing support during at different stage of the sale process
- Contribute to press articles, interviews and promoting views on transformation of business through usage of technology
- Develop and maintain strategic business engagement plans in partnership with internal product, field sales enablement teams, customers, and partners
- Identifies strategic use cases and differentiators for F5’s solutions and engage with the key product leaders to develop technical sales enablement strategies
Requirements:
- Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese is a requirement
- Passion to drive consultative sales based on customer outcomes
- Ability to work as a flexible team player - independently as well as collaboratively
- Experience to successfully manage difficult/challenging conversations with customers and employees
- Experience in a role that requires project management and consultative skills, a plus
- Solid presentation skills, articulating sophisticated technological concepts
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Familiarity with F5 product suite a big plus
- BS or BA degree or equivalent work experience
