Ingram Micro is a leading technology company for the global information technology ecosystem, and they are seeking a driven Senior Business Development Manager to grow their Refurbished Mobile Device division. This role focuses on expanding the customer base, increasing revenue, and strengthening presence in the secondary market for mobile and consumer electronics.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth by developing and executing a winning B2B sales strategy
- Grow our wholesale customer base across Carriers, MVNOs, Insurers, retailers, resellers, and enterprise buyers
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, lead generation, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals
- Build strong, long‑term relationships with clients and act as a trusted partner
- Sell across multiple product categories — primarily mobile phones, with opportunities in tablets, computers, wearables, and more
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends
Requirements:
- Four-year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field)
- Minimum 10 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally in mobile devices or consumer electronics
- Proven success meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to generate leads through cold outreach, networking, and social platforms like LinkedIn
- Self‑starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
- Familiarity with the refurbished/secondary device market is a strong plus
