Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Athomtech, Inc is seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to lead testing teams within their IT division. The role involves analyzing user requirements, creating and executing automated test cases, and collaborating with development teams to ensure software quality.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases
• Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail
• Perform manual testing and data validation
• Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data
• Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team
• Execute performance and accessibility testing

Requirements:

• Testing complex Web Applications
• Testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
• Testing automation experience with Selenium/Playwright and TestNG
• Experience creating automation test frameworks, for example, Selenium/Playwright with Java
• Database/SQL Language
• Experience in generating test scripts using Playwright
• API, JSON
• WAPT Pro/Jmeter or other performance testing tools
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins jobs
• Test automation experience using open source technologies and/or in-house frameworks
• Experience in API testing (SOAP and REST)
• Previous experience with Jira preferred
• Previous experience with Zypher Scale preferred
• Experience using GitHub CoPilot or other AI Tools to generate Test Scripts
