OCI Cloud Systems Engineer

Technoyon India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an OCI Cloud Systems Engineer Jr to support the stability, reliability, and scalability of cloud-based infrastructure and systems. The role involves managing distributed cloud environments and participating in system engineering activities to enhance cloud frameworks and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Support the stability, scalability, and sustainability of cloud-based networks and software systems
• Assist with system integration, verification, validation, and operational support activities for cloud systems
• Monitor and maintain the health of distributed cloud environments and virtual machines (VMs)
• Develop and support proactive engineering mechanisms to ensure reliable system performance
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, and requirements allocation related to cloud systems engineering
• Participate in trade studies and interface definition for hardware and software system specifications
• Utilize system metrics and performance trends to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools, and processes
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot system issues and support operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cloud systems engineering, systems administration, or related technical roles
• Basic understanding of cloud computing environments and distributed systems
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud-based infrastructure
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative engineering environments
• IAT Level II certification required
• At least one cloud certification required within 6 months of hire (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI preferred)
• Secret Clearance Required
• U.S. Citizens ONLY due to legal or government contract requirements
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks and standards used in cloud environments
• Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle concepts including integration and validation
• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools used for cloud operations
• Understanding of cybersecurity considerations in cloud-based systems
