Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate and articulate the benefits of Nutanix solutions to drive customer purchases and business transformation
- Size, configure, and implement Nutanix solutions tailored to customer needs
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, acting as a trusted resource to address their technical concerns
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop account plans and propose tailored solutions using Nutanix offerings
- Provide customer feedback to internal teams to influence product development and service improvements
- Execute proof of concept installations, ensuring all hardware and solutions are deployed seamlessly
- Travel up to 50% within assigned territory for customer engagements and events to foster stronger connections
- Achieve personal and team objectives set by the Senior Manager, Systems Engineering for continuous growth and success
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a customer‑facing technical role
- Working knowledge of Information Technology, including virtualization, data centers, storage, and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI)
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes, including deploying, troubleshooting, and articulating the value of modern application architectures
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid/multi‑cloud operating models
- Understanding of modern application patterns, including microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows
- Growing experience with AI technologies, including prompt engineering, LLM‑based workflows, and emerging agentic AI patterns that influence customer solution design
- Strong technical aptitude and adaptability to evolving market demands
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear business value
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and urgency
- Experience conducting successful proof of concepts, including lifting and handling servers
- Desire to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment
