Description
The service technician handles the business operations of product repair from receiving to shipping and performs the bench repairs of the Dolphin pool cleaner and produces consistent results that are high in quality and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Performs all types of maintenance both electronic and mechanical as it relates to the Dolphin pool cleaner and related accessories.
- Plans detailed working procedure and determines logical steps required to repair equipment
- Replaces component parts as required using company tools and supplies from workbench area.
- Tests equipment using company supplied analyzer and water test tanks.
- Maintains working knowledge of product lines, parts and bill of materials
- Cleans, washes, and cosmetically refurbishes equipment.
- Packs and unpacks equipment for the purposes of testing and shipment home to customer
- Assists in warehousing functions including picking, packing, shipping orders, and inventory counts.
- •Utilizing Priority platform regularly to perform repair documentation, etc.
Requirements
Minimum requirements
- High School diploma
- 1-3 years of experience in mechanical/electronic repair
- Intermediate computer skills with experience using Excel and conducting data entry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills Abilities required
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
