Project Manager

Appriss Retail is a total retail loss solution company that helps retailers improve their operations and reduce losses. The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful implementation of SaaS projects, managing cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery for new customer implementations and SOW work, building detailed project plans, driving cross-functional teams to clear milestones, and holding stakeholders accountable to schedule and scope
• Manage scope, issue resolution, and risk across implementations, proactively escalating blockers to CS and Engineering before negative impact on timelines
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout implementation — facilitating status calls, documenting decisions, and translating between business requirements and technical solution design
• Track and report on project health using defined KPIs (on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, scope variance); surface patterns across the portfolio to drive process improvement to implementation methodology and SOW standards
• Identify opportunities for product expansion within assigned customers, working with Sales and Customer Success Managers and handing off with enough context to deliver on them
• Utilize project management skills to support internal cross-functional projects in the role of a project manager as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent project management experience
• 2+ years project management experience
• 2+ years of SAAS experience
• Strong relationship skills, with the ability to work within all levels of an organization
• Track record of managing projects and/or programs in a technology environment (e.g., software company)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude to correctly gather facts and memorialize them in the appropriate system
• Comfortable working in an ever-changing environment
• Self-direction of day-to-day activities — collaborating with team members to share best practices and experiences
• Exceptional listening skills with the ability to ascertain unspoken needs
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proven organization and time management skills
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Office, or similar)
• PMO Certification
• Retail experience
• Working knowledge of Appriss Retail products
