Project Manager II - Education Operations

Cleveland Clinic Health System is a respected healthcare organization dedicated to transforming patient experience. The Project Manager II will oversee cross-functional projects related to Education's technology and operations strategy, utilizing project management methodologies to ensure project success and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of small projects or phases of larger projects
• Coordinate the activities of a project team under the direction of a Project Manager III or IV
• Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
• Prepare and complete action plans
• Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
• Resolve problems
• Completes audits and identify trends
• Determine system improvements and implement changes
• Meet financial objectives by participating in developing forecasting requirements
• Participate in preparing an annual budget and scheduling expenditures
• Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
• Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
• Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field and three years of experience coordinating or managing various projects
• OR High School Diploma/GED and seven years of experience
• OR Associate's Degree and five years of experience
• OR Master's Degree and two years of experience
• Effective relationship building skills
• Project Management Certification (PMP)
• Experience working in project management, specifically with project documentation, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling and closing
• Experience in project management systems
• Served as a system owner in a previous role
• Experience with project risk mitigation strategies
• Knowledge of all five project process groups
• Familiar with predictive, hybrid and agile project methodologies
