Principal Healthcare Data Analyst - Remote

Providence Health Plan is dedicated to patient-focused care and is seeking a Principal Healthcare Data Analyst to lead quality improvement initiatives. This role involves high-level data analysis, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Responsibilities:

• Leading advanced strategic quality improvement and process management initiatives across Providence Health Plans (PHP)
• Providing high level analysis work (design evaluation plans, coordinate data collection across groups, partner with other analysts for reporting support, etc.)
• Leading and mentoring of personnel
• Training staff; providing input for performance evaluations and promoting professional development for staff
• Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
• Leading team meetings and acting as counsel to all staff on analysis matters

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a highly quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering/Physics, Accounting, or Computer Science), plus a minimum of 10 years of experience in data analysis
• High School Education or equivalent, plus a minimum of 12 years of experience in data analysis
• Data analysis experience at a decision-making level
• Master's Degree
• Coursework/Training: Formal training in the techniques of CQI/TQM and statistical process control methodology
• Healthcare organization/health insurer experience
• Extensive experience in the techniques of CQI/TQM and statistical process control methodology
