Principal Healthcare Data Analyst - Remote

Providence Health & Services is a comprehensive health care organization dedicated to patient-focused care. They are seeking a Principal Healthcare Data Analyst to lead strategic quality improvement initiatives and provide high-level data analysis within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading advanced strategic quality improvement and process management initiatives across Providence Health Plans (PHP)
• Understanding the operational objectives of PHP, provides high level analysis work (design evaluation plans, coordinate data collection across groups, partner with other analysts for reporting support, etc.)
• Responsible for leading and mentoring of personnel
• Trains staff; provides input for performance evaluations and promotes professional development for staff
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures
• Leads team meetings and acts as counsel to all staff on analysis matters

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a highly quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering/Physics, Accounting, or Computer Science), plus a minimum of 10 years of experience in data analysis
• Or High School Education or equivalent, plus a minimum of 12 years of experience in data analysis
• Data analysis experience at a decision-making level
• Master's Degree
• Coursework/Training: Formal training in the techniques of CQI/TQM and statistical process control methodology
• Healthcare organization/health insurer experience
• Extensive experience in the techniques of CQI/TQM and statistical process control methodology
