Atlassian Engineer (Confluence Specialist)

Ekkiden is an international consulting group founded in 2019 that specializes in IT/Digital, Industry/R&D, and Sustainability transformations. They are seeking a skilled Atlassian Engineer with expertise in Confluence Cloud transformations to maintain and optimize Confluence environments, ensuring they meet business needs and enhance user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and maintain Confluence environments (Cloud/Data Center)
• Plan and execute Confluence migrations (Data Center → Cloud)
• Perform pre-migration assessments (content audits, dependencies, risks)
• Identify and mitigate data integrity issues throughout migrations
• Lead post-migration validation, optimization, and user adoption
• Design scalable Confluence spaces, templates, and structures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions
• Develop automations, workflows, and integrations (Jira, APIs, third-party tools)
• Manage permissions, governance policies, and access controls
• Optimize performance, usability, and content organization
• Provide training and support to users and stakeholders
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and manage upgrades
• Evaluate and implement Atlassian marketplace apps

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with Atlassian tools (focus on Confluence)
• Strong experience in Confluence administration (spaces, permissions, templates)
• Proven experience in Confluence migrations (pre & post)
• Experience integrating Confluence with Jira and other systems
• Knowledge of collaboration workflows and knowledge management
• Experience with automation/scripting (REST APIs, Groovy, Forge, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Atlassian certifications (ACP-100, ACP-620) – nice to have
• Experience with marketplace apps (ScriptRunner, Scroll, Comala) – plus
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
• Experience in enterprise environments is highly valued
