Position Description
The Art Director is responsible for leading the visual identity and execution of all marketing and brand creative for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Reporting to the Creative Director, this role combines creative leadership and project oversight, ensuring all content reflects a consistent, high-impact brand across digital, print, and in-stadium experiences.
Essential Functions
• Uphold the Tampa Bay Buccaneers standards in all communication and design to maintain a cohesive, recognizable brand
• Lead artistic development of all promotional and marketing pieces, including but not limited to campaigns, out-of-home, print, mobile, email, digital, collateral, signs, in-stadium, sales, club publications
• Understand marketing initiatives, brand positioning, and target audiences for all creative executions
• Develop concepts, oversee projects, and provide direction in an environment with tight deadlines
• Review and approve designs, artwork, copy, and other creative developed by the Creative team
• Maintain graphic and copy consistency across all deliverables
• Perform other duties as assigned
Management Responsibilities

Employee is also responsible for staffing the department and the management of employee performance, including hiring appropriate staff, conducting regular performance reviews and, if necessary, terminating staff in conjunction with human resources.

Experience & Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in fine arts or a design-related field
• 7+ years as a professional graphic designer
Technical Knowledge
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or comparable tools
Additional Technical Knowledge
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
Work Environment
Extended evening, weekend work hours sometimes required
Stressful and demanding work environment in executing work on short deadlines
Required to work all home games
Must be comfortable working in a high intensity setting, meeting tight deadlines and delivering quality results
Physical Fitness Standards
Computer and desk work a significant part of daily activities
Sitting, standing, working with hands for extended periods of time
