The Hershey Company is a global leader in consumer packaged goods known for its iconic brands. They are seeking a Manager, International Brand Marketing & Innovation to develop and implement marketing strategies that drive growth and innovation across key regions and brands while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and activate international marketing & innovation strategy
- Partake in insights work to build, understand and translate external consumer, competitive, category + more knowledge into growth driving platforms
- Management and delivery of the 3-year Innovation pipelines
- Commercialize key multi-market platforms driving ideation to in-market launch
- Lead complex problem solving especially with regards to commercialization / project delivery analyzing and synthesizing information from multiple sources to formulate business recommendations
- Develop comprehensive P/Ls on innovation platforms
- Design, implement and improve innovation processes and capabilities
- Develop senior and executive-level presentations (International and regional leadership, Executive Committee updates etc.)
- Work collaboratively with global cross functional and regional teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of combined experience in leading CPG/FMCG company with 3+ years in innovation
- Brand building mastery – has experience and demonstrated ability to build brands with strong marketing fundamentals like insights generation, business reviews/assessments, equity/positioning work, brand strategy experience, creative media development and innovation commercialization
- Experienced in innovation project commercialization and innovation/portfolio management processes (ex. Stage-Gate) and technology (ex. Accolade)
- Comprehensive understanding of financial metrics and P&L fundamentals
- Expert in collaboration, communication and ability to influence
- Solutions-oriented and strong project manager
- MBA or equivalent marketplace experience highly preferred; Internal Hershey experience in-lieu of MBA
- Global innovation experience preferred
