Federato is on a mission to defend the right to efficient, equitable insurance for all. The Strategy & Ops, Forward Deployed Engineering role involves partnering with the VP of Forward Deploy to drive strategic initiatives, operational rigor, and scalable execution across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Translate organizational priorities into structured initiatives and execution plans
- Drive cross-functional alignment across GTM, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success via programs, metrics and scale
- Act as a force multiplier by independently advancing high-priority initiatives
- Design and implement delivery operating rhythms (forecasting, capacity planning, utilization tracking)
- Improve margin performance through data-informed staffing and planning
- Define and operationalize processes across onboarding, staffing models, delivery methodology, and tooling
- Own strategic initiatives (e.g., delivery framework redesign, ES packaging, staffing model evolution)
- Form and lead working groups with clear charters and timelines
- Identify structural inefficiencies and propose solutions grounded in business impact
- Create scalable internal documentation and playbooks
- Standardize processes without over-bureaucratizing
- Develop training and rollout materials for new systems or workflows
- Own programs that strengthen the delivery system (onboarding, staffing models, tooling, methodology)
- Drive long-range improvements that reduce friction and increase consistency
- Establish repeatable operating rhythms that enable managers to succeed
Requirements:
- 8+ years in GTM Strategy, Professional Services Ops, Revenue Ops, or similar
- Deep familiarity with SaaS Professional Services models (utilization, margin, staffing)
- Experience leading operational rollouts (systems, frameworks, process redesign)
- Strong executive communication skills — can draft strategy memos and present clearly
- Highly structured thinker who can move from ambiguity to action
- Comfortable operating independently in high-growth environments
